Badillo Saatchi &
Saatchi, which just two weeks ago and for the second consecutive year was the
top winner from Puerto Rico at FIAP (Iberoamerican Advertising Festival) and
then won a Grand Prix and 26 medals at Cúspide 2014, has garnered four
awards (1 Gold, 1 Silver and 2 Bronze) at the Puerto Rico Sales & Marketing
Executives Association’s SME Digital Awards competition. This is the third year
in a row in which Badillo’s Digital Division has won medals at the SME Digital
Awards. The award ceremony was held May 15 at the Convention Center in San Juan.
Toyota’s Rav4featuring.com
won Gold in the Best Digitally-led Integrated Campaign category and Silver in
Best Interactive Advertisement. The
Bronze winners were Lexus Royal Challenge in Best Digitally-led Integrated
Campaign and Lexus-pr.com for Best Use of Big Data or Data Driven Solutions.
Claudio Chea, Badillo’s
Digital Director remarked: “We want to share these awards with our partners at
Toyota and Lexus. We fruitfully continue to evolve the depth of the
relationship between our brands and our audiences by providing rewarding
digital experiences, through the use of creative technology and social media. We
presented three ideas to the festival and all were awarded.” To which Erasto Freytes, the agency’s CEO added: “At Badillo we’re
all extremely pleased with the performance of our Digital Division’s team
which, under the inspired leadership of Claudio Chea, has grown the agency’s
digital business significantly and has won awards for three years in a row at
the SME Digital Awards competition.”
