Shanghai - Saatchi
& Saatchi has promoted Irene Shum to Managing Director of the Shanghai
office, effective immediately.
Irene
took up an account leadership role within Saatchi & Saatchi Shanghai in
2012, and has since driven the agency forward to lead the market in the areas
of New Business, Client Retention, Creative Solutions and Social Influence. Due
to her outstanding performance, Saatchi & Saatchi Shanghai was named 2013
Campaign Asia’s China Creative Agency of the Year (silver) and Shum herself was
awarded 2013 Campaign Asia’s Greater China Account Person of the Year. The aim
of these awards is to reward the top agencies and performers in the China, Hong
Kong, Taiwan and Macau markets.
Campaign

Irene’s 20 years of experience in marketing & advertising in both 4A
agencies (Saatchi & Saatchi, BBDO and Ogilvy) as well as a multinational
(McDonalds), she had worked in a spectrum of categories, including beverages,
food & dairy, baby products, petroleum, alcohol, telecommunications,
skincare, and automotive. Brands she had worked on in China include Sprite,
Fanta, Minute Maid, Kraft Foods, Haagen-Dazs, Bright Dairy, Dumex infant milk
powder, Chivas Regal, Hongkong Disneyland, Citroen DS, Buick and other youth
& fashion brands such as Reebok, M-Zone, Lee Jeans and The North Face.
