Shanghai - At the first Shooting Award show, held last night in Shanghai, Saatchi & Saatchi Shanghai picked up two of the top awards.
They were named Best Agency of the Year in the Video sector, while their 'Olympic' spot for Nippon Paint was named Best TV Ad of the Year. Saatchi & Saatchi Beijing added to the celebrations by winning the Commonwealth Award for UNICEF 'English Lessons'.
Shooting Award is the 'Oscars' of the Chinese advertising creative production industry. It's the first major award to honor the great achievements made by Chinese advertising producers during the year, and to encourage them to keep innovating and advancing professional standards in the advertising production area.
Winners were selected by a jury of 28 experts from all areas of the creative and production industry, which went through two rounds of judging before finally selecting the top entries in each of the categories.
