Saatchi & Saatchi
Singapore continues to energize its creative team with the hiring of
award-winning duo, Jeremy Chia and Fajar Kurnia, who will assume the role of
Creative Directors at the agency, reporting to ECD Dominic Stallard. The pair
will work across the agency’s portfolio on local, regional and global clients.
“Bringing in Jeremy and
Fajar is an important part of Saatchi & Saatchi Singapore’s creative revitalisation.
They have the rare ability to win new business as well as major awards on real
accounts. They understand the importance of digital communication and a killer
concept. We’re very excited to have them onboard,” said Dominic.
Both Jeremy and Fajar began
their careers at Saatchi & Saatchi (Jeremy in Hong Kong and Fajar in
Malaysia), and they have gone to work at agencies such as iris Worldwide
Indonesia, who they helped win Digital Agency of the Year and Ad Agency of the
Year.
CEO Shannon Cullum said, “When
you get the opportunity to include creatives like Jeremy and Fajar to your
agency, you take it. Having talent of this caliber will enable us to showcase
great creative work globally that is produced right here in Singapore.”
Jeremy and Fajar’s
end-to-end thinking and their ability to successfully translate ideas across
traditional, digital, mobile and e-commerce platforms is what gives them
dynamism as a creative team.
This has translated to award-winning
creative ideas across the region for brands like, Dove, Heineken, Levi’s, Mercedes-Benz,
Singapore Health Promotion Board, Sony Unilever and Wall’s. Together, Fajar and
Jeremy have won numerous awards including a highly-coveted D&AD yellow
pencil, Cannes Lions, CLIO Awards, One Show and Effies.
